What novel and script to video tools take in
This register reads the intake side of 29 tools that turn a script, a story or a novel into video or storyboards: which files they accept, how long a source may be, which languages it may be written in, what they extract, whether that can be edited first, and how reading it is billed. As of 2026-09-25.
1The pile on the desk
One cover sheet per tool, in alphabetical order, stamped with what its own pages say about the way in: how the text arrives, any length limit, any named source languages, what it pulls out of the text, and whether that breakdown can be edited before anything is generated. An unstamped line means the pages say nothing.

Inclusion rule. The 29 tools in the intake register; a checkpoint counts as answered when the vendor's pages state anything on it. Order. The order the checkpoints appear on every intake record.
3Why the intake side
A manuscript meets a tool before a single frame is made. If the file type is refused, the chapter is too long for the box, or the tool rewrites the dialogue on the way in, nothing downstream matters. The vendors write these limits in different places, a FAQ line, a counter under a text box, a plan table, and in different units.
The register collects them in one place with the wording and the page. Output length, finished-video languages and plan prices are outside it; this is only about what goes in.
4What the register shows
Every tool names a way in, but only six name file types. Eight state a length limit of some kind, in four different units. Five say anything about the language of the source, and sixteen describe a breakdown that can be changed before paid generation starts.
5Nine doors into the register
Come in by tool if you already have one open, by checkpoint if the question is about files, length or language, or through the questions if you have a manuscript in hand and want to know where it fits.
