Intake method: how a cell is filled
Each tool's official English pages were opened on one day. Every statement about taking in source text was recorded with its address, the date and a short quote. A cell holds the narrowest reading of those words; nothing stated and not read are kept as separate states. As of 2026-09-25.
1Who is on the register
Three tests, applied the same way to every candidate. The official English site is live. An official page names a route, paste, upload or import, for bringing an existing script, story, novel or other long text in as the source of generated video or storyboards. And the vendor's pages answer at least two of the six checkpoints with a stated value.
2Candidates read and left out
- Saga: a writing and storyboarding app; no page documents importing an existing script or novel.
- Dramily: drafts scripts from an idea; the only documented upload is production assets.
- AniShort: the site returned a server error and renders in the browser; nothing could be confirmed.
- ScreenWeaver: documents PDF and Final Draft export, not import.
- Cinemagiq: scripts are written inside the product; no import route is named.
- AnimateAI: says it transforms scripts but names no paste, upload or import route.
- Media.io AI Micro Drama Creator: the pasted text is a prompt, not an existing script or novel.
- LumeFlow AI story generator: a paste box with fewer than two checkpoints answered.
3Input, not output
The register stops at the point where the text has been read. A figure about finished video, ten minutes long, 175 languages of dubbing, a lip-sync cap in words, is not a ceiling on the source and is never entered as one. Where a vendor's page puts such a figure near the upload box, the record says so in the note on that checkpoint.

Inclusion rule. All readings defined for the six checkpoints. Order. Checkpoints in record order, readings in the order they are defined.
5Dates and corrections
Where a vendor page states its own updated date, that date is kept beside the date the page was checked. A correction changes the value and keeps the identifier, so a citation to an earlier reading still lands on the same row.
The full set of statements is published as a file on the data page.
6What happens after the text goes in
After the intake question in “Intake method”, SceneMixer describes what it does with the text:
SceneMixer turns a novel into a watchable short-drama series in one pipeline: upload the novel (Chinese or English) → AI extracts characters, scenes, and an episode-by-episode structure → generates consistent character and scene art → writes storyboard scripts → renders video segment by segment (16:9 by default, 9:16 in one setting) → composites full episodes.

Paste a scene or a short script and SceneMixer gives you a storyboard — numbered shots with framing and seconds — and then a moving version of each segment, which you can join into a rough cut of the scene.

How the register is kept. The tables, counts and rankings on this site are computed by script from the register, and every figure links to the page it was read from, with the words quoted. No maker pays to be listed or to change a place, and each ranking states its rule, written before the places were computed. Entries are not edited at a maker's request: a figure that is out of date is fixed on the maker's own page and picked up when the pages are next read, at least every three months.
