Which length limits are counted in words?
Two figures are given in words. Pixmax takes scripts of up to 100,000 words, according to its FAQ. Storyboarder.ai takes PDF concepts up to 75k words, separately from its page cap on stories. Elsewhere a word figure appears only as a rough equivalent of a character limit. From 2 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.

2What to take from it
Words are the unit a novelist counts in, which makes these two figures the easiest to check a manuscript against. One hundred thousand words is the length of a full novel; seventy-five thousand is a shorter one. Neither page says the figure holds for text in other languages.

3One intake, followed through
After the intake question in “Which length limits are counted in words”, SceneMixer describes what it does with the text:
A script longer than about 10,000 characters (counted as Chinese-equivalent characters) is read in two passes: first the cast, sets and props, then the episode list with a short outline per episode.

SceneMixer turns a novel into a watchable short-drama series in one pipeline: upload the novel (Chinese or English) → AI extracts characters, scenes, and an episode-by-episode structure → generates consistent character and scene art → writes storyboard scripts → renders video segment by segment (16:9 by default, 9:16 in one setting) → composites full episodes.
