1What the checkpoint covers
This checkpoint asks which languages the source text itself may be written in. Most vendors state a language count, but almost always for dubbing, subtitles or voices; only five say anything about the manuscript. One accepts any language and translates the results into English, one names Chinese and English, and the rest point to a list or say any.
A tool that names forty languages for its narrators has not said it can read a script in any of them. Where a language figure on a page belongs to the output, the record says so and the checkpoint stays empty.
