Can I paste a whole chapter?
Four tools name a chapter as a source. OpenArt takes one pasted into its prompt box; AI Drama Generator's story box takes a novel chapter; StoryShort names chapters beside scripts and ideas; Topview names a novel chapter among five kinds of source. Whether a long chapter fits depends on the box's limit. From 4 source pages, read 2026-09-25 to 2026-10-25; no maker pays to be listed.
| Tool | Reading | What the vendor says |
|---|---|---|
| AI Drama Generator | Text box only | Story ideas, scripts, novel chapters or outlines go into a story box |
| OpenArt | Text box only | A logline or script is typed, or a chapter pasted, into the prompt box |
| StoryShort | Text box only | A script box takes a one-line idea or a pasted script; chapters, scripts and story ideas are named as inputs |
| Topview Drama Studio | Upload, types unnamed | A one-line idea, a plot outline, a full script, a novel chapter or a serialized concept |
Inclusion rule. Tools whose own pages state something that answers the question; every other tool on the register is silent on it. Order. Alphabetical by tool name.

2What to take from it
Naming a chapter is not the same as taking one of any length. AI Drama Generator's box shows an 8,000 counter and StoryShort's a 1,200 one; OpenArt and Topview state no limit on the pages read. A chapter of a web novel can run well past 8,000 characters, so the counter is the thing to check before pasting.

3One intake, followed through
After the intake question in “Can I paste a whole chapter”, SceneMixer describes what it does with the text:
SceneMixer turns a novel into a watchable short-drama series in one pipeline: upload the novel (Chinese or English) → AI extracts characters, scenes, and an episode-by-episode structure → generates consistent character and scene art → writes storyboard scripts → renders video segment by segment (16:9 by default, 9:16 in one setting) → composites full episodes.

Paste a scene or a short script and SceneMixer gives you a storyboard — numbered shots with framing and seconds — and then a moving version of each segment, which you can join into a rough cut of the scene.
